hey, i cant get my maxdrive to come up as a drive in xp. i could copy over to it fine using the maxdrive software until i formated it and now i cant even access it this way. any help appreciated. also is there any software for converting replays into video format?

You can convert replays of the pc version of the game to videos.

Maybe you need to reinstall the pc max drive software to get the drive to appear.
Or try a different usb port.

make sure you format it to the correct FAT settings, i did it once and count use it till i reformated it.

make sure the disk is clean then keep restarting the ps2, it will get ti eventulay the x-port has the same problems, i normaly get it 5th 6th time of restart

Did you manage to resolve this as it happens to me. I have the new slimline one which is horizontal anyway!!!

how can you have problems with max drive? It is the most simpledevice to use ever! I know because I have one and I read the instructions!

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the slim line PS2 and getting the "Please Insert a PS or PS2 disk". Was it solved?

Im havin trouble with the max drive when i put the cd in my computer to install it it does not read it.Does any 1 now how to install the max drive so i can dwnload the option files to my max drive???????

Firstly make sure you're putting the PC disk into your PC. It's a simple mistake to make.
Reset your PC and try it in all of your CD/DVD drives.

I got my max drive today from Play.com, and my ps2 cannot read the small disc at all, lot's of clicks...it isn't my laser because all my other games work perfectly.

Im gonna try and create an .iso file on my comp and burn the software to a full size CD-R to see if that changes anything.
