Semi-Auto Formation

Good day all!

I was playing Barca vs Madrid last night, when the CPU brought on Owen for Salgado, putting him up front as a three-man strikeforce along with Raul and Ronaldo. This changed their formation from 4-4-2 to 3-3-1-3. How can I do this to my team?

Cheers

Paolo

Just go to Formation and Edit Position and move around the players and then make the suitable subsitutions.

Hi Zyg

I trust you are well?
No, I'm an old hand at PES , but I was more referring to the computer automatically changing the formation to suit the introduction of a 3rd striker, eg, when you are 2-0 down with 10mins left, and you want to throw the kitchen sink at the opposition. Perhaps, as you say, it's just the CPU's quick way of changing formation etc....but there are no Formation A, Formation B presets that it can use. Any ideas?

I don't think you can make the CPU do anything like that. It's probably down to what the programmers designed the AI to do in situations like that. Mostly, the CPU teams just keep the same formation.

If your referring to yourself quickly changing formation in a match without actually going to formation settings, it can be done. Iam pretty sure its under strategy when your doing your formation before a match.
It albes you to quickly change formation in a match by just keeping hold of and press the button you arranged it for.
