Question Frustrating Mate

I basically have this defending problem when i play against my mate, i nearly always beat him but i nearly always only beat him by the odd goal or two, and the annoying thing is that is goals are almost identical each time, he passes out to his wingers, runs right down the edge of the pitch then when he is parrallel with the edge of the box he turns back and forth until either get drawn into a tackle. if i tackle i occasionaly give away a free kick but he seems to sprint free into the box, pass to someone , score. if i tackle i nearly always get carded as he is in mid-turn, a red card alot of the time too, which f*cks me over for the rest of the game, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What i uaually do in this situation is hold r2 it jockeys the player and when he moves sticks a leg into win the ball. I use all the time for defending it works a treat! Hope this helps u get one over on your mate

It's best to hold it when ur really close to the player. 90% of the time u'll snatch the ball or block any shot or pass. Practice makes perfect
