Vincent Kompany's position
in which position does kompany play in for anderlecht,i thought it was right back but i'am not so sure.I have bought him for roma on my ML and i like to keep it realistic and i want to play him in the right position.

He's a centre-back, though I believe he has played in defensive midfield for Belgium at times.

He can play at right back aswell, although centre back is his regular and favoured position for Anderlecht. Playing him at centre back, defensive midfield or at full-back would all be realistic depending on what system you are playing or what players you have in your team. His versatility is one of his great assets, in the Tsunami Charity Match he even appeared to be taking up the left back position at times.

You can't really base anything on that farce though, sure he was playing on the left, but Gerrard and Deisler were playing as defenders at times.

I agree that he is versatile though.

always thought of him as a centre back,ther's been alot of hype about him for a while now hope it don't hinder his performances as there seems like there could be transfer scramble for him in the summer

I can know it because ive seen him playing in real life.
