Anyone had this happen?
I was playing ML on PES2 last night and I was 1-0 down to Munich, 60 mins gone. I floated a ball in from the left for Michael Bridges (usually a reserve - in because all my strikers were injured, unfit). Bridges headed the ball towards the goal, looked like it crossed the line, Kahn made a despairing save behind the goal line. Crowds started cheering, Brackley shouts 'He's got it, he;s got it!' However the players didn't celebrate, then shortly after, the screen shot to a goal kick for Munich --- no goal given. Really bizzarre. Couldn;t check it on replay cos there was none.

Still went on and beat them 2-1 thankfully!

Sounds weird. Maybe the ball didn't totally cross the line?

On PES3, you'll be able to view the manual replay from any angle and save it too!

No thats never happened to me before. Thats really strange. Its the first i have heard of it. Some other people should be able to shed some light on it.

If so why the goal kick? My only thinking behind it is a committed a foul, and the crowd or the commentator didnt notice?

The commentary is rarely relevent.
The crowd could have been booing for you coming so close to scoring maybe.

Possible a goal kick was given for a foul or an offside. Or it could just have been a glitch in the game.

I've had somthing similar happen to me with the commentary but thats messed up anyway, one weird thing did happen was when the comp took a goal kick the ball actually crossed the side line because i could see the shadow of the ball and it sort of curled back in and play went on! very stange indeed Mr Holmes

That happened to me. It said I scored and the commentator and players were all doing the usual but then on the scoreboard after my goal it stil said 0-0.

In WE6, I once hit the side netting and was given a goal. Saved the replay to prove it.

yeah, I scored once with Zambrotta (Italy) and it went through the side netting (fromk the goal) and off for a goal kick!

somethin weird happend when i scored.instead of scholes running forward he froze then he was running backwards instead.it was like he was doin the moon walk but his feet werent moving. weird huh :confused:
