Andrew Johnson Vs Jermain Defoe

Righto, big argument going on at my school at the moment.

My case for Andrew Johnson (as well as a few Palace fans) and all the glory hunters who support teams no-where near where they live, especially as Palace is the local team...

Anyway, who's better?

Obviously I'll say Johnson, and my reasons are this. He's a lot stronger than Defoe, his runs usually always bring him into great positions to shoot or cross. He's better in the air than Defoe and his overall contribution to the team is a lot better. He's a good honest player too.

Please vote, NOW!

For someone infamous for winning penalties quite easily, I wouldn't call him strong!

I can't find an Eastenders character who looks like Defoe though

I have to take my hat off to Crystal Palace. AJ was always a good player but he never would have become quite as good as he is now if he had staid with us. He wouldnt have got the opportunities for a start. But Palace have turned him into something pretty special.

Listen Chelski boy. Study each one of those fouls for penalties and you'll see each one is a genuine appeal. Besides no-one even questioned it until Steve "I'm a cocksucking moron" Bruce got all upset after losing to Palace for the second time, rightly so too, Birmingham are crap. (No offence Mr Birmingham fan)

I didn't say he dived, I think he won most/all of those penalties fairly.

That penalty the other day, where he almost snapped his neck falling, how could anyone say that was a dive? He nearly snapped his neck doing it!

But still not strong.

Oh he's strong alright, but unless you go to the Palace games regularly you wouldnt really know, but take my word for it.

Tireless is another word for that man.

Wow !

You may know that Birmingham gave AJ a standing ovation when he scored at St Andrews. Also that AJ refused to celebrate. Ask him who he would rather play for.

Yes you probably think you are a good team - you beat us twice and you beat Liverpool yesterday. We beat Liverpool twice and that hasnt made us a good team. I hope you stay up so you can beat us again and then come on here and say how crap Birmingham are. That crap we havent been involved in a relegation battle yet.

If you must know i posted that Birmingham insult before I saw your post, otherwise I would have been kind enough not to do so.

However, being a single minded git, i stand by my remarks (about the manager anyway, perhaps saying Birmingham were shit was a bit harsh). Nasty fellow he is, too quiet for my liking, makes stuff up, and gave Dowie the most evil glare you'll ever see.

OK I am not going to have cyber war wuth you - In fact I dont really like Steve Bruce anyway. I dont know why we are so loyal to him - Our board never refuse him money for a transfer and whats he done for us apart from get us promoted. He has beaten Aston Villa and thats about it. I personally think hes taken the club as far as he can. I dont know but Dowie may be the same with you - might keep you up and then establish you, but is he the type of manager that will challenge for trophies ? I dont know but I dont think Bruce is for us.

I can also understand why you dont like him. He has dumped on every club hes been to !

Yep thats true about ol' Brucey.

I think Dowie needs more time, he was still playing football until 2001, and is brand spankingly spankably new to management. He's had good successes so far though, getting a bankrupt Oldham into a playoff position and then a relegation threatened Palace (in league 1) into the Premiership, could be the start of something beautiful, we'll have to wait and see.

Cadbury is an unknown

Defoe for me.

Steve Bruce is a cock, he basically said that it was down to luck that Everton are fourth. What a fucking scumbag. Yeah, played Steve, played 34 games and we so happen to be fourth, d'ya not think that might be down to the fact that Everton have played probably their best season in the Premiership ever and it's not down to luck?

Just another example of why Steve Bruce is a cock sucking asshole.

For me its got to be Jermain Defoe, though truth be told i havent seen enough of andrew johnson. Ive seen defoe play since he started off at west ham and Bournemouth i think, he seems quicker then johnson and a sharper finisher.

On this occasion I agree with Steve Bruce and I can assure you I dont suck cock. Everton are probably the dirtiest side in the Premier League. How anyone can say that they are the fourth best team in the league and mean it is beyond me.
