Does anybody know how to change WE8 in to PES4?

I know I might sound crazy, however I have seen it done, rather I have seen the results of the change and therefore know it is possible, the problem is I do not know how it was done and the person that was responsible did not know how he did it either.

A brief explanation: I left the room while the WE8 was in demo mode (Milan v Milan) when I returned a friend had entered the room and was holding the pad, I looked at the screen to notice that it said pes4 at the bottom rather than the normal we8 symbol, I asked him what he did but he did not know (I can only imagine he pressed a load of keys to exit the demo mode) I took the pad of him and entered the main screen the fonts, images, and announcement (pro evolution soccer 4) where all different, I was amazed and open the player to see if it was the same game only to find my winning eleven disc sitting there!

As this happened to anybody else, and does this mean that we8 is in fact pes4?

I posted this question here as I was not quite sure where to post it, and I thought that you guys that do all the editing may have seen the title screens or something whilst interrogating the dvds.

This by the way is a patched game, I am in Bolivia at the moment and got a little bored so I bought a PS2 to get some practice in whilst over here, there seems to be no licensing laws here so anything could have been done with the game!

WE8 and PES4 are different games.

There is no way one could suddenly 'turn' into the other either.

All I can suggest is that the game is patched and the guy who did it changed the title screens.

Have you ever been able to do it again?

That story sounds a bit bizaare, but it looks like a patch has been used to modify WE8 to look like PES4.

I said it was crazy!

I have never been able to do it again, and I have tried (not sure why really cause apart from the title screen changes I am sure it will be the same, however it did look better)

When loaded normally the game is WE8, with all the corect title screens, it was only the one time that it was PES4. That said I do not believe that it was edited to look like PES4, why would anyone go to all the effort for it never to be seen? Unfotunately I am not at home or I would rip the disc to have look to be sure that I am not going mad or anything!

Is it a WE8 disc which has PES4 screens? or has it changed back to WE8? if it hasn;t changed back then you should send it back to the store or whatever.....maybe you were on some sort of drug at the time-just a suggestion?

Did the language change from Japanese to English or whatever? or was it still in Japanese??

No, it is WE8 that looks like WE8; except for the one time.

Anyway it is not important I thought somebody else might of had the same experience, guess not.
