That's exactly what I think, YV84. The patches are a good idea due to the huge amount of players in them, but there's no way they can all be done accurately. The appearances are very basic and the stats are obviously guessed at. You know when the simple things such as height/weight haven't been done correctly then what else could be wrong.

Anyway I've told any classic patch makers to view this thread as we spend more time on getting individual players right and are way more accurate. I personally like it when a bit of time and thought has been put into a player, it feels alot more authentic.

Classic patches for me are just a good reference for players and that's all.

And a question, When i download a patch, do i need a max drive etc to see what players stats and app look like in the patch or do the patch go to Microsoft word or something like that on my computer?????

When I mean rough, just look at mine & YV84's comments above.

To answer you question there are plenty of software apps that you can view/edit player stats, the one I use is called "editpes4optionfile" just type that in a search engine and you should find it. This is for PC option files though, I don't know about ps2/xbox ones.

Anyway remember that these stats are far from accurate and if YV84 does his version of him it may be totally different, but much more accurate.

After looking at the classic player listings for PES5, I noticed there have been quite a few changes to the classic teams. Some great new players have been added but some great players have been dropped such as:

Didi
Nilton Santos
Dixie Dean
Tom Finney
Duncan Edwards
Billy Wright
Just Fontaine
Raymond Kopa
Omar Sivori
Manfred Kaltz
Harald "Toni" Schumacher
Roberto Bettega
Helmut Haller
Trevor Francis

to name a few. Don't worry though I'll make sure they all be posted here with updated appearances for PES5.

Where do i press to download????

I have press download and i chose the Version 1.35 for Windows XP / 2000 : The EXE file with the required DLLs file cause i have windows XP and i download it but it´s not working at all???????

Krookwk, I'm 100% ok with you about patch, it's a very good utility to make classic and we must thank the guy who done it because it's a hard job. For Hamrin, i'll show you my stat for PES5 and you say to me what you think.

That's looks good, I take it Di Livio has now retired?

Altafini was instrumental for AC Milan 1963 european cup win & Ravanelli played for Lazio and I'm not too sure that he has retired yet, so they could be taken out. But I don't know what should be done about that.

Not too sure about Hamrin, he played for others, Fiorentina & AC Milan. Apparently he played most of his best play at Milan, so maybe better suited there?

I would play Vialli over Ravanelli purely on a stats comparison.

It doesn't matter which team is done now as all the classic teams will be done eventually.
