Playoff Fixtures

Latvia v Turkey
Scotland v Holland
Croatia v Slovenia
Russia v Wales
Spain v Norway

Personally, I think it'll be Turkey, Holland, Croatia, Russia and Spain that advance.

I'm wanting Scotland to get somewhere, but being drawn against the second best team on the list hasn't helped them at all. At least if we play as well as we did against Germany at Hampden, then there's a little bit of a chance. However, I don't see us overcoming those Dutch either home or away. Ah well.

Wales have difficult opponents as well, although Russia aren't as good as the Dutch. They've got more of a chance of going through than Scotland, but it's still a very slim chance.

My predictions are the same as yours except I reckon Wales could tip over Russia.

Not that I have anything against Scotland but I really would like to see Holland go through. They play good, exciting football and it was such a pity that they couldn't make it to WC2002. It would indeed be a sad affair if they were to miss another major football competition.

Nope, I can't see Scotland beating Holland in the Play-Offs either. The performance against Lithuania wasn't convincing at all, it was a narrow victory and they were lucky enough to finish second.

As for Wales, well it will be tough against the Russians. Luckily for them they've got the away leg first, that will be a huge advantage, so I'm optimistic of them advancing.

I'd expect Turkey and Spain to go through. Croatia v Slovenia should be tough, not sure about that one.
