Beckham specials

Anyone noticed how easy it is to do Beckham from the halfway line shots? When the keeper comes out to clear the ball and that clearance happens to fall to your feet it is quite easy to score though having said that it is also quite easy to put it into the stand. Just noticed it last night by accident when Finney rapped it in off the post leaving the keeper in no-mans land.

If you can either hit the ball straight away or get control and pass it quickly to a team mate it still seems to work as the keeper will still be making his way back toward the net.

I think that is the case with every player, not just Beckham. I used Dyer to shoot from halfway and it nearly went in. It seems that in this game the keepers come out of the goals more.

It's all a matter of patience and timing, i've done it 3 or 4 times, but tried it about 200...

Go into training and get a decent striker or midfielder and have some digs, scholes is usually good at it.

ai how do u get the keepers to come out when u rnt even playing against a mate

they wont come much further then 15 yards

Edge of the 18 yard box is plenty far enough with a decent striker!

beckham can score/hit the target from the halfway line 7 times out of 10!

It looks good when you score becoz I did it wiv Ronaldo (the real one). It hit the crossbar and went in. 1/50 chance though

In PES2 I scored a freekick from the halfway line with Carlos. I was actually playing a long ball into the box and everyone missed it! It was hilarious to watch in slow mo' as every player just flaps around, trying to get something on it. Even the keeper fell over as it bounced into the back of the net at around 5 miles an hour.

I've saved about 8 goals like this, with various players. It's a little bit annoying how easy it can be at times.

One against South Korea was particularly easy. Their goalie was just outside the penalty box when I was defending a corner - I got the ball clear, and ran up to the half way line with it. Their keeper did nothing, so I shot upon just passing the half way line, and he didn't even make an attempt to get back because the shot was so powerful.

It's so easy to do when the player has a good shot.
