Thumbs down Owen going???

 i really hope i am wrong but i can see Owen going in January, again i hope i'm wrong. But unlike Gerrard he has'nt come out and said he is signing a new deal  . For many years now i have regarded Owen the best forward in the premiership. He is also the youngest of the 3. Now i know all u mancs and arsenal fans will disagree but hear me out. While Van Nistelrooy is no doubt world class he has a brill midfield backing him up creating goals for him like Beckham last season. Henry is an unbelievably great player but again has players like Pires and ljunberg who also hit quite a few goals and feed henry with superb through passes. Now look at Liverpool, while we have a good midfield are attacking is good but they do not play to Owen strength getting down the flanks and putting it into the box would see owen hit 30+ just in the league, if Owen played for united he would have won the golden boot last year. Anyway i am hoping Liverpool swoop for Adriano and Cisse if Owen goes,

I don't think Owen will go in Jan. If he goes at all it's more likely to be in the close season.

Saying that, Houllier's been tracking Cisse since before time began.

Yes, a big club. Milan and Madrid both come to mind. However, the 2 teams already have a good enough strike force. You can't see Owen replacing Raul or Ronaldo at Real, or AC's Shevchenko or Inzaghi. It's not a position where both these teams need improving, so they wouldn't splash out £50 million + for him.

Cisse's move to Anfield is imminent. I believe the first choice partnership upfront for Liverpool next season will be him and Owen.

Isn't Ronaldo unhappy at Real because he keeps getting subbed and Inter Milan's president hasn't ruled out a move back to Inter, therefore leaving a space for Micky?

Yeah, Moratti does want to sign him for Inter but Ronaldo isn’t interested because he's happy at the Bernabeu.

that would be great for united, but not liverpool
but they would complement each other so well.
