Also, when commenting on peoples work, please don't just write one or two words. Tell what you like about the work, and what you don't.

It's nice to see the Graphics Area teeming with activity, however please make sure you post constuctively. When posting a signature, make sure you comment on other people's work, especially if you expect them to then comment on yours. Neither do you have to wait until you're posting a signature, if you see a new signature it's nice to get the comments out as soon as possible. Obviously you don't always have time to post then and there, but try to do as much as you can, you'll find that the more comments you post the more you will receive.

It is also important to make sure your comments are constructive and useful, it's always nice for someone to say that your work is 'amazing' or 'excellent', however it doesn't help the person improve on their next piece. Try to tell them what you feel is good about the piece, what's not so good (constructive critiscm only) and how you would improve it, if the background is excellent but the render lets the signature down a little, say so, it's all part of the learning curve. If anyone get arsey about constructive critiscm then perhaps they should keep their work private.
