Question Tricks? Flicks?

Just been reading that you can do flicks and tricks in PES3?

I've only managed the one where you change direction when the ball is under control but bouncing and it flicks over your head. what are the others?
Can you really flick it up for yourself to volley?? How does that work??

Another thing. How do you keep shots down??? on PES2 it was easy, just dont hit it so hard and press up on the d-pad, but i'm doing that on PES3 and its still going skywards!! can anyone help?

just push the button soft.. and you can lift the ball up by moving the right analogue joystick : down-up.

the "tricks and flicks" as you call them are:

repeatedly tap L1: step overs

rotate right analog stick 360 degrees: zidane style spin

right analog stick up then down quickly: flick up in the air ready for a volley etc...

Hold R2 then press either side to do a little side step e.g if running towards the goal to your right, hold R2 and press up.

another less publicised trick is while doing the R2 side step (again running to the right of the pitch for arguements sake) press R2 and up to do sidestep, then immediately hold left (or the opposite direction to your run) and you hop back words with the ball in a trapped position, and you can keep dragging it back with for desired amount of time

Ok???

Yeah thats great, cheers, i knew about the old ones with R2 and L1 but the others I had no idea. They probably mention it in the manual i assume, but i can never be arsed reading it!!

Any ideas on keeping the shots down?
