Alex Ingelthorpe Joins Spurs Coaching Team
I got told this the otherday but now it's been made official....

Alex Inglethorpe has left Exeter City and is joining Spurs in a coaching role within the youth set-up. Inglethorpe is seen as an up and coming talent within the game and in only 18 months has stabilised Exeter City with two solid finished in the Conference, including a famous 0-0 draw with Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.

34 year-old Inglethorpe, as with such former players as Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd, had his career hampered by injuries and made strides towards gaining his coaching badges with an eye on a future in football management from an early stage. He has made the same decision as the City manager before him Eamonn Dolan who left the Westcountry outfit to take over the reigns of the youth development at Premiership new boys Reading.

Inglethorpe said "Leaving has been the biggest decision I have had to make in football, and in the end it took an opportunity to go somewhere where I can continue to learn in a very exciting environment to persuade me my future lied elsewhere."

Inglethorpe, who will be responsible for such players as Kerry Dixon and Leigh Mills said "I cannot fail to learn and improve as a coach at a place like that with top coaches. It is a very exciting prospect".

Alex Inglethorpe is expected to join the club officially before the start of pre-season once a suitable compensation package between the clubs has been agreed.
I've also heard the long-term plan is for him to take over from MJ whenever he calls it a day for whatever reason, and i must say i am totally jealous of Spurs set up at the moment

Agreed, they've seemingly got things sorted down there, i'm glad they didn't get the last Champions League spot like, they would have been able to move further ahead of us.

Believe me Spurs have long-term planning, it was SBR who recommended him to Spurs and he is one of the highest rated young students within the Engish game
