- I hate Radiohead. I've tried listening to OK Computer and Kid A etc... thinking I'll eventually like it, but it doesn't happen. I think they're just plain dull. Weirdly, I really like bands like Muse, Hope Of The States and The Cooper Temple Clause - who are all quite Radiohead-like.

- The Beatles are hideously over-rated. A decent band, some good songs. But shut up about them already.

- I don't like Metal. I try, but no, it's not happening. It just hurts my ears. Not even the old stuff.

- I think Anti-George Bush sentiments are ruining music, especially in punk music. It's just a gimmick now to shift CDs, I can't really take it seriously anymore.

- The Jam and The Cure were better than The Clash, who in turn were better than The Sex Pistols - but everyone else thinks it's the other way around.

- Hiphop is in a pretty terrible state. Too many talentless idiots writing lyrics about the same tedious things over and over again.

- Punk rock music is excellent. Punk rock culture is a bit ridiculous.

- The 90s was probably the worst decade for popular music.

- I hate RnB (not from when RnB meant actually Rhythm and Blues, I mean since the genres been highjacked by Usher and co)

- I can't get into all this new-wave indie genre, as much as i try, there's just too many new bands who I feel don't say wnything different.

- Most of the new indie British bands sound the same, I can't make out whether I'm listening to band A or band B.

- The Black Eyed Peas are the worst thing to happen to music, along with those lesbians who raped eachother and an excellent The Smiths's song. The rasta like guy is a terrible rapper, terrible singer and a terrible entertainer. The girl sounds like she's done some heavy jodeling in Austria for a while and looks terrible.

-U2's shit nowadays, and Mariah Carey is still shit.

-Rolling Stones should quite while they are behind.

- Robbie Williams is terribly annoying, and hailed by everyone.

As for my own:

-Oasis are an entirely boring and unoriginal band who've never released an album that's more than competent, and even their crowning achievement, DM, is an average brit rock album. And contrary to popular opinion, they have awful, generic lyrics, and I cringe whenever I hear people say that Live Forever is meaningful. Blur are miles better.

-My Bloody Valentine, specifically Loveless, is vastly overrated, I simply can't enjoy it.

-The Talking Heads are vastly underrated are far too often overlooked.

-Indie Pop is rubbish, including The Shins, I'm yet to hear an Indie Pop song that doesn't sound like every other indie pop song.

Think of more in a bit.

Radiohead - Finally, I've found someone else who doesn't like them. Now I know there's a lot of controversy with certain cultures that Radiohead are associated with, but trust me, I take no notice of it. I know they've influenced a lot of new bands of the same genre evolving in the UK, but I just cannot enjoy their music, there's no solid reason for it - I've given it a try, and all my friends love them, so it's not as though I've hardly heard any of their stuff. Sorry, they don't do it for me.

Muse - I know there are a lot of people out there who will despise me for this, but Matt Bellamy probably has to have one of the most antagonising voices I have ever heard, it ruins their music in my opinion. The whining, and groaning just really gets on my nerves, and again - I really struggle to enjoy their music.

Also, Craig David's debut album 'Born To Do It' was quite fantastic.

Nirvana - One of the worst mainstream bands ever, however hailed often as one of the best rock bands ever. They were in actual fact, not good, but utter wank with thirteen year old's lyrics, poor guitar work and a voice more annoying than nails on a chalkboard.

The Darkness - They are actually not crap, they're fun, a lot of people liked them until it became fashionable not to like them. They're nothing spectacular but they hardly take themselves seriously so maybe others shouldn't.
