NO.

Why should they? They are Scottish, and just because the rest of the SPL is shite, it doesnt mean they have a divine right to join the English leagues.

If they were to join the English leaves, start them off right at the bottom in the Non-League divisions.

I agree with Definitely maybe. If they were to compete in the english domestic leagues then they should at least start at Division 1. I guess if they join, the Prem League will get bigger and more games will have to be played. The more games we play domesticly, the less chance the england team have of winning any honours.

There's no way they should even be allowed to join division 1, teams like Cardiff have worked hard to get into division 1 and I doubt they would be happy if Rangers and Celtic were allowed to go straight into division 1. Another problem would be the amount of travelling fans from clubs such as Southampton or Portsmouth would have to do to get up to Glasgow from the south coast.

I don't think we should spend too much time arguing about it because it's not going to happen in the forseeable future.

So its fair to say that we want those geezers to stay up north (no offence to any Rangers or celtic fans). The only way we know that celtic and rangers game has progressed is in Europe. Celtic doing better domestically in Europe where as Rangers lack flavour.

first of all i've got to say i dont think they ever will! the scottish game would die (damn thats gonna be an empty funeral) and FIFA wouldn't allow that!

2nd of all, its a bad thing, they would be mid table at best, yes they would draw huge crowds, but think of the travelling, the are scottish.

if they ever did, they should start in DIV 3, meaning all their top players would leave and they would stay there!

Ypu guys have some good opinions its true tho they should have to start at the lower leagues, but i mean the 3 biggest clubs in britain by far are Man unt, Celtic and Rangers, the main reason why they prob will never get in the prem is cause the small english clubs know that they would become far stronger than them and it would be even harder for them to stay up, if you gave them a few years in england they would be in the top 10 richest clubs in the world, its all about tv money

like Mutu said, look at what happened at Man U, they wouldn't beat our top 4 home or away very often (i'm talking Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle...IN THAT ORDER ARSENAL FANS!!)

MUTU and Matphillips u guys are right about it, (kinda) for the first couple of seasons they couldnt beat ur top 4 but after time they would be able to pick from the worlds best players as they would be in the premiership and the tv money would help cause like i said arsenal and chelsea are minor clubs compared to rangers and celtic, and probably liverpool aswell

Are You forgetting Liverpool and Blackburn Last season?

Personally I don't think its right that we play in England, but to say we aren't good enough is just stupid mate...Don't judge Scottish football on Rangers performance at Old Trafford, because they aren't very good at the moment.
