ML credits compare to Euro money

I tried to figure it out using Some recent transfers. E.G. shevchenko, roughly transfer free of 50mil euro, and in the game it takes roughly 15000-18000 credits, we assume Chelsea overpays the transfer fee. that means 1 credit = roughly 3000 euro. However, I don't know if that fits in with the salary system. anyone else got a good guess?
