How intense are you?

How does WE/PES effect you psychologically? How intense are you?

I shit you not... #12 & #13(tape lasted 2 days)

Leads me to think Konami and Sony are conspiring to make money selling controllers. They are of pretty crappy build quality though.

I've broken 2 anologue sticks on my last 2 controllers out of frustraiting. Through them in the bin and told my brother that they were done as certain buttons don't work on some of our controllers. I think we only have 2 that actually work perfect out of about 12 controllers.

I did it a bit when I was younger(bout 4 years ago), but not anymore, my rage is taken out on the next person I play online, when I smash them.

I've got about 5 Sony controllers and on every one the Analog sticks don't function properly. I used to hit them out of frustration, now when I'm playing a racing game the car seems to veer off to the right or the left without any control. Same with Evo replays, they sometimes go mad. Now I have toned it down or if I'm really annoyed I'll just hit the punchbag or something, helps a bit until you brake your hand on that.

Some how my pad is still alive. It generally gets bashed off my desk at least once a day. I've so far only lost the L2 button though.

Actually Sony could maybe introduce a new steel PS2 controller with rubber grip so it doesn't get so sweaty and slip out of your palms. Metal Analog's and metal buttons, wonder if it would work properly though. Sure it would stand the test of time, although probably cost around £40 like. Bah!

I still have my original two control-pads that came with the PS2, at time of purchase almost however-many-years-ago.

Good condition, though the analogue sticks have minds of their own, through use.

My mate, however, managed to throw his pad out of the window and get it caught in a tree. So he decided to throw his GameCube at it to get it down.

He missed.

I use to paly with the old stick of my PSX, the grey one. I've broken many new ones, but this old friend of mine is still working, even with his colored wires "on the air"

I bought a red one for PES alone and it went all mongo on me*. Started vibrating at random times and shit.

EDIT: * After I'd gone mongo on it numerous times, such treatment consisting of throwing it off walls...or my head.

I've never broken a controller or any other peripheral through rage. I sat on my copy of Smackdown! 2 but that's all I've broken.

Same. They seem to last for ages whereas the newer ones break easily. I think I've broken three and thats just from use - no throwing them or anything.

Same here. Don't really miss it to be honest. I don't do in game tactics.

I don't abuse my pads at all, i don't take out frustration with anger (martial arts teaches me not to) but I do go through a lot of pads. It always seems to be the shoulder buttons that go for me, I honestly think it's just overuse though. They do get some hammer. I have a carrier bag full of PSX/PS2 pads which have only one or two buttons malfunctioning, one day they will go towards a huge project, like saddam and his nuclear weapon Ps2 rig.
