PS2 - Help Me Out Fellas

Im reading people are playing online already which leaves me dismayed :-(, I cant register a new user in the "User Registration" Section after the inital "Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Network Mode Is Now Online" or whatever it says i click X to go forward and am greeted by a "Communications Error" ...that's about it really...as far as i can go when it comes to playing online =( . I Thought it might be my BT Home-Hub (punches the hub once again) so i took it to my girlfriends who's on NTL and it didnt work at her's either =( . So..is this a known issue?..anywork around?...Can anybody help me =(

Not sure if you're online yet (the servers were down earlier), but if not you might have to open ports through your firewall/router. Just so i don't have to explain how (if you don't already know), i'll post a link to a site that can help. Just select your router then choose 'Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence' it's not PES but PES is forwarded almost the exact same way - in the section where you have to access the port entry screen for PES, you only have to press circle at the memory card selection screen of the 'network' menu, rather than try and find a settings menu.

Thanks for the link and what-not i had to go through that rigmoroal..(however you spell it) for pes5 when i got this damn bthome hub piece of shit and it wouldnt let me past the testing connections screen. in the end i just knocked off all the homehubs security settings

Anyways..the problem isnt that i cant get online, i can get the the user registration and connect to lobby screen. but i cant register a New account in the user registration screen i just get the message "communications error"..


Can you or anyone else register a new user and password for me to get on?

Have you tried registering again recently? Because the servers were down for a while today, which might explain why you couldn't get it done. If that doesn't work - leave me a name/password to use and i'll create one for you.
