PS2 - PS2 online play

I have not been able to get online for 3 days now. Has anyone else had any trouble getting online. There was message saying it has been very difficult so i left it for a while. When i went on today the message has gone and i thought it would be ok but it lets me get to the player file select and then after ages of thinking, it just says connection lost. It's getting annoying now as i like playing online and i wanted to enter a competition.

same problem...i have however got in but there is still very bad lag..i do not know why it has taken so long to sort out the problem...they have had emergency maintenace meetings...and think that everything is ok...

anyway...no i cannot get online anymore...it is reli annoyin

All i can do is get to the select player menu online then i get 'Disconnected form server' This is bent all I want is online play, master league is boring now.

anyone had any luck online yet? I playe online on the 25th and havent been able to get on since then.

I reckon that they've massively under-estimated the online contingent. They thought they wouldn't have as many as they have got, ergo the servers can't cope ergo they deaded

. Give it a week and I'm sure you'll all be online.

I just wanna get on to enter a tournament. I read about them and they sound really good.

I understand mate, but how are you going to play a tournament if no-one else is there

im leaving it until poeple on here say its working as i cant be arsed with the annoying waiting.i'll just get used to it 1st as the gameplay has changed.

Funny thing is...I got on for 59 seconds yesterday and there was 212 ppl in the top server. My connection was lost before i could go in to that server but i was wondering how there were ppl in it. I know 212 ppl is a low number but still...why are they in and im not. Strange.

its really bad ths isnt it.they sell you a game advetising online play and the service isnt there.i no its free but its ridiculous the amount of time you waste trying to log on.

I am able to get online since yesterday but then I was still getting disconnected sometimes.

But I don\'t really like the online mode to be honest because I don\'t like the idea where a group of people enter a room which is annoying if you only want to play against one person.

But if their is a way where this can\'t happen please could someone tell me thank you.

Thats why i didnt like it too...

But i found that if you create a room you can choose to force ppl out so you have a 1v1. Also if ppl call the room 1v1 and you are first there, if anyone else turns up they will force them out. It is a weird way of doing it!!!

so as ive not been online yet due to this piss poor service could you explain to me how you get into a game,is it not like pes5 when you join a match.whats this where you are in a room and have 5 on a team?

I have only played 4 games but from what i have seen, it is annoying. If you create your own match room and 3 ppl come in, YOU can choose to chuck them out and play a 1v1. However if you go into a room where someone is not bothered you can end up playing 2v2 like i did and my team lost cause the player on my side was awful. We were Juventus and he didnt like that.
