Messed up my memory card
Iv been using my max drive for years now and never had problems, but when i attempted to put on a pes6 option file it messed up my memory card.
its deleted everything that was on there and when i put the option file onto my memory card it says its on there when im using the max drive disc but when im in the start up section of the Ps2 it says theres no data on my memeory card, and i also cannot save anything onto it now as it says "error try again"

can any one help me?

Yes, your memory card is fucked. Sorry about that. You can fix it by loading up the Max Drive software with the Memory Card in the PS2 and when you have the choice to enter the Memory Card slots or the Max Drive thing, highlight the Memory Card that is fucked and press this should format it and bring your card back to life, you will however have lost all your data from the card.

oh well, thanks for your help though mate, i didnt know you could format it using the max drive disc. i thought i was gonna have to buy a new memory card

this happened to me well pissed me off just do what cc said and it'll be back to normal then just download other people's save you have of the game you play or start again

Next time make back up game saves, transfer them to another memory card or to your pc, and another advice, use a memory card for PES only, we PES gamers are dealing with OFs all the time, so, this reduces the chances of fucking the card up again.

U need to format your Memory card. When u use the max drive CD in your PS 2 there is an option to format your memory card. I think it maybe the square button to format. Obviously all data will be removed but you can still use your memory card once formatted.

Yeah you can format it like Craig said, you won't be able to get all the stuff back from the memory card though.

Think yourself lucky dude, something similar happened to one of the drives on my PC, i had to format that drive and lost an unbelievable amount of stuff. Years and years of downloaded music, every South Park episode that they have done, all my graphics work, all my option file stuff, all kinds of photos including my 18th and 21st, pictures of my ex with fuck all on etc. Fuckin' gutted to say the least.
