I think it will be shearer.. he is in awesome form... he scored a screamer against Wolverhampton last night and had one hit the underside of the crossbar... i think that he will remain top of the scorer's sheet for 2003/04

A screamer? Your standards of goals aren't to high. I wouldn't classify it as a "screamer", in fact I think he miss kicked it.

I wouldn't look past Shearer, Van Nistelrooy or Henry though. They'll all be there again at the end of the season. I really believe that you can't really pick it at the moment. Owen would be the only other one with any hope IMO.

Ruud and Henry seems favourites. Ruud obviously in my opinion more clinical but scores less. Shearer is the leader of course but he wont last.

Paul B has stepped out of the darkness into slightly less darkness

I reckon it's going to be a close call between RVN and Henry but I'm going for Henry. He will also be top assister.

Owen, Henry, Nistelrooy or Shearer will probably end up being the top scorer in the league. Owen, unlike the other 3, gets injured a lot and plays fewer games but he's always in a good end of season goal scoring form, so he'll be up there. Beattie might come close too. None of the Chelsea strikers are definite starters but each of them will still probably end up scoring about 12-15 goals this season.

I don't think shearer will, on newcastles form at the moment.

Like the others said, it would probably be between RVN, Henry and possibly Shearer. It's still quite early in the season, but I think we'll get a clearer indication of who'll win it by the end of January. Henry for me, personally.
