PS2 - How do you view a players total goas and assists

I know its probably very simple but i came accross it once and cannot find it anywhere now.

On ML, you have to go to Records room and then to total goals and assists

I found that bit but there was a bit where i could view my players not just the top 20. Like when it comes up opponent data and you can view the other team. If you press on their players it comes up total played, total scored stuff like that.

After you play a match wait until the screen comes up where your players stats improve, then press X on the player you want to view.
