Pes3

what do you guys think of advancing the Konami-Umbro cup to do regional (ie Champions League, Copa Libertadores) championships as well as world wide. also, should there player names/sponsors? surely player names can be done. are tactics going to be able to be changed and saved without going that team (ie in the options or edit mode). just a thought

the sponsors and player names issues has been raised several times.... its all about licensing.

the idea of regional club competitons would be cool, but the lack of club teams in pes would make this a bit of a problem.

but hitman, surely they can display a name on the back of the shirt - it would say radolno (no licensing issue) and we'd all change it so it wud say Ronaldo on the back of the shirt. i dont see any issues there tbh :-\

and i think the ability to change default formations and starting lineups for every team on the game is a MUST-HAVE. it's stupid that u cant change that kind of thing

Robinho, I don't think they were referring to shirt names, just the correct player names.

There are shirt names in WE6:FE so probably will be in PES3 too.
Hopefully they'll make it look better as they are not easy to read at the moment.
(Does anyone know if they can be edited to be made thicker?)

well, i was kinda talking about both. i sort of understand the whole liscensing thing with radolno and Oranges009 and the likes, but why not have editor-friendly names on shirts, but they dont have to reflect the players name (ie jordi instead of cruyff even though he isnt in the game) so if you create a custom team, you can call players by their last names officially, but give them nicknames on their shirts...kinda pointless, yes. oh well. also, PES for the PC, would it make money? surely the memory and option file could be much, much bigger and room for more replays, saved games, the lot. or maybe x-box, memory and hard drive space are always good for a complex game like PES. Peace, chris martin is god.

You can already specify what you want the shirt name to be in WE6:FE and it can be whatever you want it to be.
