Thumbs up NEW SOLUTION to run at higher resolution

Hey everyone,

I found a solution to speed up the game from another website. I've pasted it below. It is supposed to work for those using NVIDIA drivers. Please tell me if it works!!

============================== ================

To resolve the slow motion problem, you can install de latest NVIDIA Driver, wich is 53.03, and then in advance configurations under Direct3d Settings you must change MipMap configuration to Faster. I had it in Mix and I´ve changed it for Faster (the fourth option). Aply the changes, and then go to the executable file, wich is PES3.EXE, properties, compatibilitie and change it so this file could run simulating a Windows 98/ME.

Note: I don´t have the Konami patch installed.

It really solved the problem for me. I have an Athlon XP 2400+, 256 DDR, Nvidia Geforce 4MX, Sound Blaster Live 5.1... I, ve been playing a while with this configuration at 800 x 600 with HIGH Details and all sound settings and it runs great.

The simplest way is a solution I found off an
other person. Left click on the PES 3 settings
make sure your in window mode,
then left click on PES 3 exe icon press control alt delete which brings up the status monitor in XP pro anyway I then left click on opware 32.exe and right click which gives you a set priority option then click on realtime or high a warning appears but answer yes, start the game and go to options , screen and to 800x600 or slightly above and high and away you go, you can then change to full screen best of luck it works for me every time.

well, for me, the nvidia 44.03 drivers work the best, the game runs normally with slight slowdowns in the penalty area, however, i use the lowest details although my laptop is very fast...

I run with mipmapping set to "best performance". I'm playing at 1024*768 with high quality. I found that things would wing along nicely at Highbury but go to some other stadia and the game would crawl. Changed mipmapping and all stadia now play the same.

Can't really see too much difference in the image quality either with the mipmapping level changed.

It does look nice FakeAccount but it raises serious performance issues if you dont have the spec which is up to the job...

generally sliding down all the graphic options in the advanced config tab of your card should increase performance

yes ctrl alt del but i think he is referring to having everything up on maximum if the graphics look crisp this would mean a performance issue for most people i would of thought

I think playing the game in a window causing problems anyway because the background tasks are not suspended and I think they are when u switch to full screen which may cause the gfx problems matey is having......

best solution for me was to get 500 (or was it 1000) PES points and buy "double speed" option. then playing the game on high at 1024x768 was perfect speed

yeah in reality that should play the game faster than normal

you have other issues if you need the speed option to make it playable...
