General - How many of you succeeded in diving inside the box??

just wonderin.. I'm playing the demo right now and its I managed no to get a foul called and my player got up asking for the penalty... but I haven't managed to do it propperly and get the foul...

Um thats not diving.

1st: I believe diving isnt in the demo
2nd: If it was diving, a card would be issued
3rd: This has happened MANY times in PES6; A defender or you bump into the keeper, the player trips onto the floor, asks for a penalty with his arms, and play continues.

Well your first two points are wrong, however your third is correct.

haha,that annoyed me,it was shoulder to shoulder all the way then as soon as he gets in the box he goes down,may of been a tug,but its the fact he burst his gut to get in the area just so he could go down

2: You are incorrect; Konami have said that most of the time that a dive is tried inside of the area, a yellow card will be issued. If it was really a dive, then a yellow card would have been issued. Therefore it was NOT a dive.

1. Not a clue check your controls.
2. I've attempted diving in the box and not been cautioned, nor did I win a penalty so...

Havn't managed to dive successfully yet, but i've read/heard somewhere that the best times to do it are when your shirt is being pulled or when your player stumbles during a challenge.

i manadged to dive and win a penalty on the xbox demo with cristiano ronaldo (the expert) i just waited till someone went in for a challenge and dived.

I managed it once with David Villa for Spain on the Xbox demo, that was after trying about 80 times though, which is a good thing, and to be fair, it did look convincing.

Has anyone else noticed you can dive in your own area but nothing is given...I wondered if there'd be an indirect free kick given, apparently not.

Yeah i tried diving in my own box and nothing was given, though it does have comedy value especially when done with the keeper.....i think i shall be doing this if i'm playing against my mates, and winning by a bit of a margin...

haha!! i used to drop the ball at the keepers feet and dribble past his attackers when i was cuffing my mates

It just adds to the humiliation I think!

Haha it's got to be done! The added bonus now is when they go to tackle you, you can just crumple to the floor like your keeper has been shot, give away a free kick and slow down the game
