PS2 - PS2 Option File To PS3

Firstly "Hey", just signed up, been looking around this morning and seems like a great forum

Secondly could really do with some help.

I own a PS3, and bought PES2008 for it, although to be honest i'm finding the game unplayable at present, and the lack of editting options is really an issue for me, plus the game just doesnt feel like Pro Evo to me

I played my friends PS2 version on a PS2, and liked it a lot better, and i think this could be the answer to my problems.

My question is how would i get a PS2 option file onto my PS3? I have a max drive from when i owned a PS2 (which i dont anymore)

Now i know i could borrow a friends PS2 and buy the memory card adaptor..............

BUT i was hoping there was an easier way,

AND i was hoping some kind soul on this site could enlighten me

Many Thanks

Adam,

You can use a normal USB on a ps3, PS3 works differently from a PS2. If you have an option file from PS2 on you Max drive, you can transfer it on a normal USB and than transfer it on your PS3

Yes but the files for the PS3 need to be in a psv. format

So if i downloaded a PS2 option file from this site, it wouldnt be in this format

Unfortunately theres no other way to convert the files into the psv format. Memory card adaptor is the only method. If you could download a tool to convert the files, I'd probably get the PS2 version too
