General - Work as a team?

PES 2008 PC version

I use Inter Milan and their default formation 4-3-1-2, this works well most of the time but is also frustrating most of the times.
My 3 front players always go up the pitch too early therefore requiring me to deliver a long precise pass or bring the ball up by taking on several players.

I would like to bring the ball forward gradually rather than doing long passes or taking on several players.
Is it possible to have the 3 front players not run up the pitch immediately one of my players have the ball but work with the midfielders to bring up the ball ?

when setting up your team you can choose the attacking or defending qualities of players in any position try that change the strehgth of your attacking movement that should help (ps2 version) i think the sub heading in Individual!!
