Post WE2002 Online Gameplay
I have been reading about people at other sites organising and playing each other at WE2002 which is a slightly older PS1 version of the PES/WE games we are all currently playing.
The graphics aren't great but it is playable if you keep in mind that the new controls (R1 lob etc) do not work in the game.

They play online and have formed leagues and other tournaments and are challenging other sites' players to play them to prove who is best etc.

So I am wondering if anyone knows about this and is interested in doing something like that. Or just playing for fun. Any ideas are cool.

Tim, I have noticed you are involved with this so do let us know how it has been for you and basically tell us about it.

Basic information is as follows
You download, install and then play this game using a PS1 emulator such as ePSXe to run the game.
[I'm not sure if this is warez so someone help]

To play, you can use the keyboard (which is quite difficult and not recommended- trust me!), a normal PC joypad or you can use a Playstation controller using a USB connector.

So what are people's opinions on all this?
Would you be interested in playing?

Hope Tim can help out too (I know you have exams so don't worry to much until after they are finished).

As an after-thought, I will make this a poll to get a quick idea of the reactions.

I'd be interested in playing, it's the next-nearest thing considering the PS2 online capabilities are none.

I'd have to get a USB converter to connect my Playstation controller (it can be a PS2 one yeah?).

I have been playing we2002 online for a month now and i joined the italian league so its great to play this game online but it plays very different than pro evo or we6, the one two pass is very populair online as we recall the defenders stay still a second if someone does a one two pass. But i should say give it a go
