player positions
Does it matter where players can actually play and where you choose to play them - does it effect their performance eg. if i play torres rb will he be the same or worse? I dont want to play torres rb btw.

In some positions in doesn't matter too much i.e if you play a CMF in DMF whilst others it will matter. I had Odonker and bought him to play RMF but he kept going into the centre leaving me open on the right. I am having the same sort of problem with Maxi Rodrigez.
Best thing to do is experiment with the players you have and if you want to play some out of posistion just see how they react during the match. |

do you think that it doesn't effect their stats (like the arrows) but just their positional play etc. so they just won't be very good in certain positions

Not sure, but they seem to get tired more quickly when playing in the wrong position

I remember when i use to play Roberto Carlos as a forward. Doubt if i will get the same rewards now tho.
