My balls gone all flat

First post so bear with me.

I have PES8 on WII and am a big fan.

However went to play today and found that I am not able to kick the ball in the air!

All corners/crosses and goal kicks are delivered along the ground.

On the WII a pass/shot through the air is shown by a yellow arc, whereas a pass along the ground is shown as a flat line. All my corners/goal kicks and crosses are shown as passes along the ground!

Has anyone else come across this problem as it is driving me mad.

Thanks

Is the game original and genuine or a copy by any chance ?

I've never even heard of anyone having this problem, might be best to try and take it back to the shop depending on when you bought it I guess. That is of course if you have the receipt mate, try asking on a Wii Forum of some sort as I'm sure they'l have more experience in that department.

Lovely thread title, though.

I've never heard of this before, sorry.

I've not played it on the Wii so apologies if this doesn't help.
On other versions of the game, free kicks and corners can be affected by holding down the 'down' direction which makes the long pass fizz along the ground. Be sure you're not pressing the down direction.
