BBC/ITV - which Euro 2008 coverage has been the worst?
On one side you have Lawro, Motty and Martin O'Neill who seems to have taken the trip as a boozefest. On the other David Pleat and Clive Tyldesley who seem to know very little about football.

ITV has been worse due to an array managers giving pointless insight, and David Pleat messing up with every sentence he speaks.
On the other hand the BBC has Marcel. I believe that's enough said, for sure. |

The one that doesn't have Marcel Desailly is the worst.

you wont be seeing him anymore I wouldn't think.
David Pleat is so boring. And why do the BBC persist with that ginger winging midget? Now he doesn't mind speaking to the press/public. Because he's getting paid! |

For sure.
When the match isn't on, all I seem to see on ITV is adverts. It's almost like they come back from adverts only to tell you adverts are about to come on.

They should have brought Leonardo instead of the Irish drunk.

Whichever has the commentator that shouts the players name, as if he's hit a 30 yard volley, when in fact he's done a stepover?

ESPN's American coverage is by far the best. We have Andy "game well and trooly ovah" Gray, Tommy "back of the ol' onion bag" Smyth, and today Juan Pablo Angel was one of the pundits.

Is John Motson BBC?
This is serious business. I can't be voting for the wrong one and end up having people laugh at me ![]() |

BBC just shades it because of Marcel Desailly and their constant attempts to whind him up.

Clearly ITV are worse.
You've got Liverpool and United fan Tydesley, a shit bunch of pundits in the studio and adverts breaks every 4 fucking minutes.

Well I suppose it's "coverage" rather than just "commentary". Quite like the BBC coverage with Linekar, Hansen, Hairline and O'Neill.
I'll vote ITV then. |
