iTunes/iPod problem with artwork

This is really annoying me now, beyond belief. I'm a neat freak when it comes to my iPod Video, I need all my songs to have the correct names, be in the correct folders with the correct album artwork. Now iTunes has decided to play the daft cunt, it shows the album artwork fine when I'm flicking through iTunes, but it simply does not import the album artwork over to my iPod when I sync it. How stupid can Apple really be ?

I've read that now for iTunes, the album covers you add whether it be manual or not doesn't get attached to the song files (like they used to) but iTunes automatically creates a seperate folder and sticks them all in there meaning you can't transfer them to your iPod. *Claps* Well played daft cunts.

Can anyone help me out here, I'm literally dying. I just want my music to be organised again on my iPod, I just want to have album covers for my iPod.

Got it sorted now finally. After spending weeks looking on the net trying to get it sorted, using shit advice to be honest, it's so simple to fix if anyone has this problem. I'd be tempted to delete this thread, but I guess other people might have this problem with their iTunes and iPod. Here's what I did to fix the problem:

When connecting your iPod, there are tabs that open up in iTunes for you iPod. The second tab at the top is Music I believe, and at the bottom of that page it has a tick box for "Display Album Artwork", simply tick this box. I've no idea why my album artwork suddenly stopped getting imported, possibly because I upated iTunes, not sure. Seems to have happened to a few people judging by the responses in the Google bar.

I'm the same, Top Gun. Last time I downloaded, it had import all my songs from the iTunes library folder all over again. Took bloody ages.

I only put the "featurings" under "Comments" as I still think it looks a tad too unorganised when on my iPod.

EDIT: I always used to be cautious downloading iTunes updates as well, there is always something that goes wrong. Still buzzing I fixed this problem though, now I can finally pile the albums/mixtapes on again.

I tend to do as little with iTunes as is possibly manageable mainly because I can't be arsed and also due to the fact that its a very shit application.

I've had my iPod Video replaced around a year ago maybe. It just stopped working, it was my fault though I think as I was modifying it and creating my own backgrounds for it etc. This probably broke the warranty but I guess they didn't bother looking at it and just sent me a new one. Can't remember whether I rang up, or just sent my iPod away in the post and emailed them, either way it seemingly worked as I got a brand spanker.

I'd check your warranty though, I think it may only last for 1 year for iPod's. Not fully sure mind.
