Improve on Gameplay for PES2009

I don't know how many of you out there agree with me but in terms of gameplay, PES2008 really let me down. Since trying out PES games since Pro Evo 2, i've always loved the game. However, i have become increasingly frustrated with the crap that comes out of PES2008. Hopefully, this can be amended in PES 2009. For example, players on your own team headering or kicking the ball into your own net, goalkeepers not jumping for the ball when it floats right over them, or referee's giving out a red card whenever they feel like there hasnt been 1 for a while. Also, on many occasions i have dominated a match and got beaten by a sh*tty last minute corner that Stremer heads past Ivarof to make us lose. I hate it when you run in front of some-one with the ball but you havnt collected it, just all thse little things are SO frustrating. I must say, free-kicks have become MUCH better, but the consistancy of the game has gone straight out the window and i just hope PES 2009 doesnt kill off the Pro Evo series.

Personally, PES2009 should be a footballing game and not a management game. Leave that to LMA and FM, i remember the good ol' days of "ronaldo V football" on the PS1 and if only PES could reproduce the magic that previous games have set out in the past, this could be magical.

Master League is the most important thing for me here and if they can improve that, the game will be quality.

Let me know what you think :-)
P.S. (i didnt think the songs were too bad :-P .....I love the Dream Team one)

I know what you mean. It isn't really a let down. It's just not as good as it was supposed to.

Hey, i know, i personally loved the structure of the master league on PES2008, i thought it was unstoppable but i am just fed up with gliches or ridiculous AI that ruin the gameplay.
However, with the master league, i think that there could be championship teams and the "play-offs" from 3rd to 6th which would make the whole thing SO much more exciting.
Anyone agree?
Cheers

If you havnt read how kickass the gameplay is this year then you must of been living under a rock

I dont now whether you lot have had the same grudge as me towards PES but on the 360 versions there hasnt been a pes shop to get classic players from.

Very frustrating as im not willing to not play ML or online to do the fuking dutch league aka 'load of bollocks' league to get some classic players. Oh and on top of that we have to the World cup 50 times aswell to get them all.

Pes Shop worked and making me have to play the modes to get playes doesnt work as i jusy dont play the game.

We're back!

An awesome day, but one which we cant talk about until Wednesday morning. Unfortunately some of the fans on the forums have forgotten my continuous reminders that me and Suff cannot say anything about it until the embargo date has passed.

So here is a reminder, then, to all the guys expecting hints or some sort of news. The news will be hitting the site Wednesday morning, with details of our experience fleshed out. We did indeed managed to record a videocast after the playtest, and along with that expect a podcast hitting at the same time.

Due to the high anticipation in the forums both me and Suff will be M.I.A until Wednesday, a step we have to take to make sure our NDA is kept in place. Anything said or written that would break it would have serious repecussions, so its best to take these steps.

All we ask for is patience, we promise you wont be disappointed...
