Fifa video....Real Madrid and Ac Milan don't have sponsors on shirt in video.
http://fifa09.ea.com/uk/videos/mid/4944/mediaid/181529
if u look carefully u will see there are no sponsors on the shirts, i was wondering has this got to do with the licenses?

It'll have something to do with Bwin being a betting company, not licences. Similar to how PES don't show the 888.com sponsor on Sevilla's shirt and Liverpool won't have Carlsberg, due to it being a brand of alcohol.

What? Liverpool won't have Carlsberg? How do you know?

Someone will have to confirm it, but I'm almost sure it's been posted on here, because there were people (me included) saying that it makes Liverpool in effect, a wasted license, because there are bound to be people who create a kit for them with Carlsberg printed on the shirts.
It's to do with it being a 3+ rated game or something, so alcohol/betting brands aren't shown. Remember how Rangers and Celtic didn't have Carling on their shirts? Same sort of thing. |
