PES 2009 for ps2 issues

I wonder if anyone can help, i recently purchased pes 09 for ps2, firstl it keeps freezing in ml mode in pertanant points. also sometimes ill sub somone out of the game they will exit the field and 5 minutes later they r back on. also i edited a kit in edit menu saved it. and when i go back into my ml it hasnt changed/// what do i do??
