Rushden And Diamonds

Hey guys i couldnt find an official Rushden and Diamonds thread so i thought i would start one!
Just talk about anything you want thats related to The Diamonds!!

OK.
We won for the first time this year 4-1 with Lowe, Jack, Hall and Burgess scoring.
Thats put us up to 10th but Luton are on the same points with two games in hand :eek:

Well, anyway, what do you think of your teams chances for the play-offs this season? And do you know a guy called Colin West? He used to play for them during the season in which they drew Leeds (I believe) in the FA Cup.

Aren't rushden in division 2? They could be playing us again next year lol.

Bet you would have got long odds on that a few years ago.

I think we can reach the play-offs but if we do i don't think we will get promoted, maybe next season!!

The only Colin West i know plays for Sheffield Wednesday who used to play for Hartlepool :eek:

That would be the one, I believe. He was once a Diamond. Earned a fortune as well. Something like £1000 a week, which, in the conference, is a large sum.

Do you think Plymouth will win the title? I think they have done amazingly well to be this consistent seeing as they were promoted last year.

yeah i reckon Plymouth will win it, if not QPR but Rushden and Diamonds has done well, i mean from winning the Conference and Div 3 and 10th in Div 2

i don't know much about Rushden. the only thing I do know about them is that the mighty Coventry beat them 8-0 in last seasons carling (worthington) cup.

We did that against Chelski once and lost 5-0. Yet they refuse to accept it was our reserves so why should we accept your claim?

Well, it's your own fault. Just as it was ours for sending out a shite team against Chelsea. Expect we didn't lose 8-0.
