Ubuntu® 8.10 Desktop Edition

This thread is to everyone who is using Ubuntu and needs help or wants to help or just talk Ubuntu.

Ok, i'm really tired of Windows XP, so i wanted a new OS for my computer, i tried Vista, i didn't like it, i tried Windows 7, it's better then vista but still not worth it, and plus the name sucks, if microsoft releases it under that name that's just poor marketing.

So, i'm now trying Ubuntu, so fat i like it, the only thing is that i have to get used to, and also, i can't install photoshop and itunes.

if anyone has please let me know how to install those programs, i will give it a try but if one week i can't install those programs i'm going back to XP.

Try partioning your hardrive and installing another OS like XP/Vista, and install it on that section of the hardrive and then access the program through ubuntu
