PESGaming Health & Fitness Gym

This is not where we come to e-workout it's where we talk about what sort of exercises we do outside off the virtual world. Do you go gym? Do you try to keep fit? Play any sports?

Since the start of the new year I've started going gym after a good 4 months out due to being a lazy cunt and not giving a toss because of the crap weather. I'm back now and wanting to get into good shape for the summer, for the ladies

I go 5-6 times a week depending if I play footy on Saturday or Sunday.

Anyone know what's good tips to get a quick protein fix?

Later today I'll post up my gym routine, see what you think.

As a great man once said "I'm getting the feeling of coming in the gym, of coming at home.....I'm coming day and night!"

I used to try and get to the gym whenever I could, but im always busy. Really I am.

But I just try and play intense five a side footie every now and again. And if I need to head over to the shops, I take a quick run/silly sprint. The gym I used to go to though was real intimidating, it felt like a pressure cooker about to explode. The amount of Brock Lesnar/Great Khali looking Russians there were hogging the Weights room. And on the machines, they would just say in an ocean deep voice, "Are you done with that?" The amount of times I wish I wouldve told them, "wtf man, didnt you just see me adjust myself here". But I never did, and was off as soon as they looked.

Haha. I imagine that could be a problem, the meat heads. I fortunately go in the morning so it's not very busy and I pretty much have free reign over most of the things there.

Yeah on Wednesdays aswell, its 'woman's day'. I mean seriously wth. Are they going to be using the weights aswell? By the looks of some of them coming out, they sure did use it.

I go to the PESGaming Gym to shower with yourself, Mig.

I've found myself just doing cardio atm. Tend to have at least a couple of hours a week after work in the evenings. At the weekend I'll either do some jogging or cycle, I prefer to do it early on so it depends on what I've done the night before as to whether I do that on the Saturday or Sunday.

Buff ting.

I used to weigh over 16 stone in my hayday ( im 6'1 ), then got my weight down and ive kept it at a respectable 13.5 since New Year 2008 ( weighed 12stone 13 for abit tho! ) . I go to the gym most days. I went 200 days in a row ( which included working/football on quite a few of those days ) but looking back that wasn't really the best

Now i go to the gym 3 - 4 times a week at the very least. I do alot more in one work out now than i did during the 200 in a row stunt in 2008. Ive now found the benefits of having a day off to let the body charge etc

I do Cardio only the now, ive had caff problems lately so ive not been doing as good as i want, but i want to lower my weight so doing 12km speed on the Running Machine is working to my favour

In may my plan is to do weights full time. past 2 weeks though ive been building myself up abit doing Dumb Bells, sit ups and push ups. My noob gains are already showing. its unreal

I tip my hat to those who keep fit, and i say to the fat cunts, stop comfort eating and sort your lifes out !

I usually go to the gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And use days in between to use my punch bag in my garage.

At the gym, I do a mix of cardio stuff ( Tredmill, bike) and weights, machines etc. Usually spend roughly an hour in the Gym then go downstairs and try to do at least 50 lengths swimming. Sometimes using the sauna if I'm knackered.

Miggy, you asked about quick Protein fix? Drink protein shakes straight after exercising, eat meat ( I'm sure you like ur meat )

Yeah I use the shakes now and again but they can be rather expensive. I've cut down on cardio because I want to gain a bit of weight.

I wish my gym had a swimming pool. You can't beat swimming.

I used to Swim for a club for years when I was younger, so it almost doesn't feel like exercise to me, more theoroputic.

Our pool has been freezing the last couple of weeks. Which I like as it means there's less old biddies in there, swimming at snails pace.

Careful you don't do too much weight training without cardio, could end up looking too big and not toned.

I haven't worked out in months. I've been smoking instead. It feels good, yet horribly wrong.

Waiting for spring to come about so i can start going to the stadium. Or is it just an excuse not to quit just yet?

Can anyone tell me if a shake called "Energise carbohydrate drink mix" would be a good protein shake?
It has 28g per 110g, 13g per 45g and 27g per 45g serving!
I dont no to much about them but i got that one today and i was wondering if that amount of protein is good enough?

Decent idea for a thread, probably just discuss further after watching Bad Boys 1 and eating my dinner.

ya see i dont want to be taking that highly concentrated protein as i will only be takin it before and after training or weights which would only be at most 4 times a week!
