Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 - PES SMoKE Patch 1.7.5 + 1.7.6 update

- Bundesliga replaces Eredivisie.

Installation (ON A NEW COPY OF PES):
**all steps are required**

1. Decompress the file (extract only one part, all parts will be be extracted in the same destination)

2. Copy (PES2009_EDIT01.bin) from the save folder in the patch to the SAVE folder of the game, should be (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\save), replace old files if it asks.

3. Backup then Replace (pes2009.exe) and (settings.exe) with the ones given.

4. Copy the kitserver folder in the Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 installation folder, should be: (C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009), then open the kitserver folder and run (setup.exe) then click install, then close.


P.S.: Directories are the ones by default installation, if you have changed the defaults use your directories.

P.S.: If you are already using previous smoke patch, just delete the old kitserver BEFORE copying the new one, reinstalling the game is not required.

I have a problem......

Everytime I choose England....the game crashes

Sometimes it doesn't crash.....in this case you know where you choose teams then when you advance..it shows their kit then it takes you to the formations.... The england kit does not show at all then the game just does not respond

what could be the problem and what should i do?

ofcourse that is the problem, you should use the option file included, it wont work without it.

Does this work with the konami patches as i got the 1.4 patch from them
and newcastle,wba and middlesboro are still on it only the team names are different and on the extra teams i have CO2 etc....
also with the downloads part 1-4 do you need them all????

you need all parts ofcourse to unzip the file. and this patch comes with its own exe.

no its not normal ofcourse,its clear the patch isnt installed correctly, follow the install directions carefully please, and DONT SKIP anything, all elements from the patch should be used and on a non patched game. if u do that ull have the patch perfectly installed.

I've installed on a clean PES and it works. Looks real good. Some things I noticed, though:

What's the easiest way of creating a player that's not in your patch? There are no empty slots inside the game.

Also, by accident, I noticed that in the Edit menu the player Laursen is listed in PES under Free Agents as well as with the club Copenhagen. Why does PES do that? Doesn't Free Agent mean he's not with a club?

And, finally, when I press 'Add Player' in the Register Player menu, PES completely shuts down. I guess it's not supposed to do that. (This occurs only with Copenhagen, oddly.)

hey, yes all slots are used, cause of all the new players, some of them are not well known players, u can pick one from free agents and create one over him.

about Laursen, yes it is the same player, the good one is the one in the national team, so simply add him to Copenhagen and remove the old one, you can create ur player over the bad laursen , and yea free agent means that he is not in a team.

There are more players listed under free agents in the game, in the edit menu, that are actually in teams. (Dyer, Laursen, Sassi, for example.) Perhaps it's just PES that mixes this up?

The 'add player' works for other teams, but not for Copenhagen, strangely enough.

Oh and Toivonen, the PSV Eindhoven striker, really doesn't ook like himself.

Overall great patch and thanks for adding the Championship expansion!
