EDIT: Just turned on the TV and it seems to be the case that he has died. I was hoping to get free tickets from work for his gigs at the O2.

I'll wait for more info before throwing out any RIPs.

Pure hilarity, I almost died hearing this.

But I can't help but feel there could be a massive conspiracy here. Think about it. He had these huge concerts coming up, which we all know he couldn't possibly perform. Yet he couldn't quit, as he'd have to give the money back, which he obviously needs. Therefore I can't help but think he might be faking his own death. We know he loves privacy, but he needs money. Now he can have this. There's so many lookalikes they could have used as fodder. And he's no stranger to plastic surgery, so he could transform himself again.

It'd be much funnier if he had snuffed it, but it just seems very convenient.

I aren't really that fussed that Wacko has gone. He was a legend in terms of music though, no doubt.

Very interesting, and as you say seems extremely convenient. We all know he's had medical problems over the years though so we'll just have to see how this pans out. I'm not saying RIP just yet.

Its extremely sad news, but I feel nothing towards him. Sure he had bad things happen to him in the past, but the guy was truely not sane.
