Anyone Pre-ordered PES 2010?

I have!!!

I was thinking about waiting until both Fifa & PES come out and comparing reviews and demos but I know I'm gonna at least try PES again this year so I've pre-ordered it.

It was £29.85 on Shopto.net and I can't see me getting it any cheaper than that when it comes up to release in Oct.

Anyone else done the same or are you waiting for reviews and more details?

I'm gonna wait until the demo is out,because if PES 2010 won't have major changes in gameplay I don't wanna spend my money for a patched PES 2009.

I know what you mean Pantilimon and I fear that too but the news from Konami so far has made me a little more optimistic

The most frustrating thing for me about PES 2009 was the complete lack of effort on the Masters League. It sounds like PES 2010 is finally going to have a major overhaul of the ML though which is the mode I play most by far.

I will be interested to see how PES 2010 does compared to Fifa 10 on the reviews front though? Critics seemed to wet themselves over Fifa 09 and slate PES 2009 which I thought was a tad unfair. PES 2009 def deserved some criticism but Fifa 09 was far from perfect!!

Good thread mate.

After receiving the last PES late in the post (my brother pre-ordered it for me as a birthday gift), I was convinced I wouldn't pre-order a game again...until possibly now. I'd rather go out and buy it on release day in the shops, but the chances are it would cost me about another £10 so I think I might just pre-order PES 2010 from ShopTo sometime in the next couple of weeks. You can't really argue with £29.85 can you afterall?

I'm just wondering now whether other people have had pre-order experience with ShopTo, and if they're reliable enough, because I always hear of people getting their games a day or so early when pre-ordering - but I never know where these pre-orders are from.

I've ordered PES 2008, and 2009 from Shopto and recieved 08 a day early and 09 on the day I believe. Does depend on where you live I suppose.

I ordered PES 2009 from Shopto Hunter and it arrived two days early!! I couldn't believe it

I'd never pre-ordered a game b4 so I was well shocked. I think the official release date was 19th Oct 2008 and mine arrived on 17th.

Only problem with Shopto is that you have to sign for the delivery, so if you're at work make sure you get it delivered to that address as I missed mine at home and had to collect it from the post office

Really?? Maybe I've ticked sign for by mistake on my info? I thought you had to sign for all games on Shopto?

i dont usually pre-order , does it work out cheaper ? but i just buy it the first day it comes out , usually

ive pre ordered both pes2010 and fifa 10 of play.com

it depends what game it is mate...usually doesn't work out cheaper in pes 2010 status it just means that you have secured your copy and you may get it early....i order mine from play.com and i usually get the game on wed/thur before the game hits the stores..

sometimes i think that in it self is worth the £30

I'm sure last year for Pro 2009 Asda did it for £24 when it was released!

That was about a month after it was released cryingGallas. Cheapest I found it for pre-release last year was £32.99 off Shopto. It'll be £34.99 at cheapest in most shops I reckon this year. Some even have the cheek to charge £39.99 which is basically robbery as far as I'm concerned!!

I bought it for £39.99 last year from HMV on the day it was released, didn't know it was a lot cheaper online.:faceplm:

Also bought the X-Box version, realising my mistake on the way home, had to swing the car around, go back to HMV and swap it for the PS3 version.
