If the EPL license is exclusive to EA how did PES get two teams licensed?

I'm just wondering how Konami had two EPL licenses from PES5 onwards because everyone says the England League license is exclusive to EA.
So is the license exclusive to EA or is it too expensive for Konami to use the EPL licenses, I think it's a money thing more than EA hoarding the licenses. I reckon the England League teams want too much money to use their licenses.
And I doubt EA are going to just "let" Konami license two big teams which draw in the fans, so my question is who lets konami use the 2 teams and why can't they get more individual licenses for EPL teams.

That's simple. EA lets Konami to have licenses for 2 EPL teams.

u sure don't know anything . KONAMI only licensed the team not EPL . That is why they only show full kits of liverpool and manutd without the EPL Barclays logo on the right hand and left hand side !

i think the game name is FIFA so all the teams are affiliated to the governing body FIFA.......thats why the game doesnt need the licence where as
konami has taken rights for the two teams..............

EA has its license through FIFA and respected FA's, Konami has the license with said clubs...e.g. liverpool thats why it says on the game (the official game of liverpool FC)

I a confused, I know EA has the P remier League licensed, but I think that Liverpool shouldn't be licensed in Fifa since Konami have the rights to Liverpool do they not.

No since Liverpool is part of the premiership they are automatically part of Fifa, Konami on the other hand cut a special deal with Liverpool and Man U but I think this has to do with marketing since both Man U and Liverpool graced the cover of PES games., that's the only explanation I can come up with.

Just a thought if Konami are only allowed two P remier League teams, because EA has the license, why dont Konami only let EA have two teams from the French League, Serie A and the Eridvense, since they have the license for them.

Sound like you guys just play and never read any news from Konami and EAsports FIFA

FIFA = Licensed of barclays until 2012 or 13 not sure but that about it . Fully Licensed Barclays is from all team in English Premiere League .

Konami = Licensed only the team not the the whole Barclay League . So they can only deal with Fully kits but they cannot put the Barclay Logo , they can but they don;t have permission and that is FOUL to FIFA . FIFA EAsports has the exclusive deals so nobody can licensed the Barclasy LOGO .

Done . Enjoy the P.C version with Full barclays league when this game come out .

It is called PATCH from thousandth of USERS everyday try to make new patch for this game . The patch will be available as soon as they finish . Usually about2 weeks after PES release.

I was just thinking, it should work both ways we are allowed two teams, so they should be allowed two teams for our official leagues.

DHPF, it's not like that. Konami can buy the EPL license, but that would involve MUCH more money than the amount they can afford. There's no such thing as to forbid the other game to have the license just cuz you have it.

I simple steps what I was saying.

*EA has the P.r.e.m.i.e.r League license.
*Konami are allowed two P.r.e.m.i.e.r League teams.
*Konami has the French League, Erdidevise and Serie A license
*So Konami should only allow EA two licensed teams from those leagues.
