Online Matches

I just had a quick question about the game versions and online play. For example if I were to purchase a UK/European copy of PES 2010 but live elsewhere such as NA, can I play with NA people or am I limited to Europe.

Which is totally fine by the way just curious really. The same goes in reverse if the NA copy was purchased could you play with European players or only NA?

PS3? It should be region free... I think there will be different lobbies for each continent and various countries within those but if you're playing someone on a different continent I'd expect some lag tbh.

It would be really nice if there was a lobby room where you could choose which continent/regions you wanted to play in. I believe that Europe is the best place, no offense intended for any other areas of the world, to play in.

I understand that there may be some issues with lag doing it this way, but I am hopeful that this years version with the online revamp will go a long way towards rectifying that issue.

The whole reason I was asking this was due to it almost being impossible to find the game locally or even regionally in my area for purchase. Perhaps I haven't looked in the right places or hard enough. There just seem to be so many questionable sources if you know what I mean.

I'm in Canada and was really hoping to get my hands on a copy up here or even the U.S. as I have family down there that could bring it up with them. But as of yet no luck. That's why I was asking about the European version. I know I can get it readily available from overseas.
