Master league player negotiations and contract discussions

Hi, just wanted to see if other have had this happen.
During the transfer window in January half my sqaud (Man City) came up for contract renewal. I went through there demands and where they want much higher wages I tried to negoicate lower wages. Next week the players all put talks on hold and now I could not discuss this further. So they are all awaiting offers from other clubs, and for example Given has now agreed to move to Arsenal and I wont get any transfer fee and he will move in June. Now the other 12 players inc Tevez, Toure, Kompany etc I am sure will leave and i cant restart negciations. Any ideas have others experienced this ?

yeah in mine i failed to negotiate and evra, hargreaves, brown, o'shea etc all left for free. if you really don't wanna lose them just pay what they want lol

I got offered £16 Million for Given.
