Player Stats, Youth Players

I've jumped from Pes 2009 PS2 to PES 2010 PS3.

I'm in the January transfer window when usually there is a group for New Comers with all the 17 year old players, re-born players and classic players. I can't find this, how do I find these players?

When I try and look at other players to assess if I want to bid for them I cannot see their stats, ie pace, heading ability etc, instead there is a -. Even when I add the players to the scout list, still nothing. How can I see their stats? It's impossible to assess who to buy without seeing their stats.

Also, in previous pes's my fav. player was Chirne. I can't seem to find him this time around. Anyone found him?

i use to love chirne i believe hes an actual player although i cant remember what his real name was i think he use to play for canada i could be wrong but i remember him he was powerful and tall im gonna search for him now actually * Chirne- Chikhaoui plays for tunisia dunno if hes on the game tho ..*

First thing, "Newcomers" section does not exist anymore, players will appear in yor ML Youth section.If you want to find a specific player you need to go to "Advanced Search". Second thing - you need to wait until your scout will gain info about player you want to buy.

How do you get the scout to gain info about players you want to buy? I've added them to the scout list, looked at the dossier. Everything is blank still?

Where's the ML Youth Section?

Just wait and play couple of games, info will appear.Better level of scout means better info on player. You'll find youth section in "My Team".

Wait for 1-4 weeks approximately (depend on the level of your scout) and he will report something on the players that are in the scout list. For the Youth Players, go to the Club House section on the left of the Master League menu. Hope it helps!

I'm in the Jan transfer window now, the players I want to take a closer look at have been in my scout list for months and months. When I select Scout List and then a player, if I click dossier I get a bit of info. However their speed, striking, heading stats are still blank. I cannot make an informed decision if I can't see their stats?

Granted my scout is the lowest of the low but even so I should be able to view player stats. There is an overall rating but that means nothing to me. I want players with pace of 85+.

Level 1 scout will only get you "-" in the player's stats no matter how long you wait. You'll only get the player's average rating, and some general comments from the scout. If the scout says there's a almost zero possibility of the player joining your team, you can forget about pursuing him. However, it's still worthwhile to put in a transfer negotiation if the scout came back with a "unlikely chance" comment.

If you want to see the player's stats, index cards etc., upgrade your scout level.

What I did in my first season with my ML default team was I check the player's stats in Edit. It's a little cheating, but I'm really too poor at that time to upgrade my scout level.

Ahh now I get understand. That damn scout is gonna get his ass fired. I have to view players stats so I'm gonna have to splash the cash. My coach gets 1 Million a year already and all my players now want more money. We're mid table and I'm at Gothenburg. The joys of football management, still at least the chairman agrees we have a 5 season plan to get promotion
