What's with the AI?

Okay, I've got the PS2 and PC versions of Pro Evo 2010. One is MUCH harder than the other, on Regular difficulty. That would be the PS2 version. The PS2 version is actually challenging, if a bit high-scoring at times, on Amateur, to me. On Regular difficulty, it's impossible, as suddenly everyone becomes frigging Captain Ball-McStealer. On the PC version, Regular is...too easy. All of my matches end at AT LEAST 2-0, sometimes 4-1, in my favor. Now, I don't know if I'm just that good, but I'd like to think I'm not, to be honest. Is there some huge difficulty gap here that I'm totally oblivious to?
