whats up with the goal nets?

I thought they looked pretty damn good in 2010 PS3

Because they are not tight enough. They are too lose. Plus the shape is all wrong. Most goals these days are square/box shaped. The ones of pro are weird looking. I for one aint arsed but some people want that little bit extra realism.

The goal nets are just fine. It´s some kind of a net fetish in my opinion just like some people like to have sex in public toilets.

They are sh*t. But that is not the point. Everyone is so obsessed with how nets look or feel , they forget about how some parts of the game is still sh*t even in the latest code.

i know this is ridiculous but i think its because EA already got em like that box rectangular shape, and PES doesn't wanna look like they copied it. they wanna keep theyre own style.

complaining about the nets is absurd. Are you telling me you won't be able to enjoy the game because of the nets?

When you bring your hometown team to the final of the Champions league, have your star striker cut inside of Pique and bend the ball around Casillas to win the game 2-1, you're going to be upset and restart the game because the net reacted in an unrealistic fashion when the ball hit it?

A goal is a goal, I've never had any problem with the nets. More teams, animations, new dribbling mechanics? Those are needed. Editable nets? Who cares.

OK, you bring your hometown team to the final of the Champions league, your star striker cut inside of Pique and bend the ball around Casillas to win the game 2-1 at the LAST minute. When you score the goal, the stadium falls into a funeral-like silence because the 50/50 crowds feature got taken away. You're not going to restart the game but you are going to be upset, it's not realistic. No criticism is absurd as long as it serves for a better game.

Yeah the crowd can be improved. But criticism can be absurd if it´s minimal like the nets, it should´t be a gamebreaker. I can enjoy a beautiful woman even if she has ugly toes

I think the nets are decent but why dont they have more than one type?

not every stadium has the same type of nets.

Well even FIFA falls down on variety. Even the nets on FIFA are all box shaped at every stadium....
