hmm it did say that in hindsight but it never specifically said 'shop edit data'.

The thing is Mr Mobb... I added Daymos' kits to my hard drive. I also managed to keep my own PES points and unlocked items. It's not a choice of one or the other. You're supposed to keep your own files and just add the edit data file, the emblem data files and uniform data files- as it says on the other thread explaining how to add option files. Amazing what happens when you follow instructions and do something properly, isn't it? You don't end up looking like a tit and having a big moan on here because you've lost your own data, which is your own bloody fault anyway.

If you can't handle technology, don't mess around with it. If you can't follow simple instructions, don't moan when you inevitably shoot yourself in the foot.

I think Grenade is right. If you inject the files individually and not the whole folder, you can get keep your saved game and just add the edited data....can't you?
