Here goes -

Hard Drive Method -

Open in Xplorer360 (Quick Google will help you find)
Go to Partition3/Cache and right click & insert your Title update.

USB Method -

load USB Xtaf and select File > Open Drive
select Cache Partition > Cache
right click you can select the Inject button to inject the title update.

If using the USB method, it works just fine but by memory may have to have the USB stick left in?? Possibly even with the HD off? I will have a play and feedback, but works both ways though. Possibly easier to use HD method if you can.

Maybe someone on here with a little more know can jump in and help with the explanation for the USB better as I use the HD method. Anyone who has added any game title update may be able to better help.

I think it only works with JTAGgged consoles.....

DLC ONLY work on Jtagged Xbox, cause they're linked to the gamertag that downloaded them...the only way to use a DLC on a "normal" Xbox is to download it yourself.

P.S.: There's a difference between DLC and patches...you can use patches, putting them in the Cache directory of your Memory Unit/USB Stick/Hard Drive, even if you don't have a Jtagged console....for DLC there's no way you can use them.

Dumb question:

What's a Jtagged console and how to do it? (I'm googling for it now and will find the answer, but maybe someone can give a shorter one )

BTW, I believe DLC gets linked with both the gamertag and the console itself. I downloaded it in a console with my hdd and then swapped the hdd back to my console and it didn't work, although the gamertag did.

hi do you have the title update (one in the Cache folder) as well as you only uploaded the dlc an i need the Title Update to get it to work.

Wish I had a J'tagg'd box Mine is simply offline only, update worked absolutely perfectly for me. Perhaps it's my instructions??
Hope linking is ok? go to h**p://digiex.net/. This is one of the better sites but there are loads, google up Game Title Updates. Work on all boxes, not contained to Jtag. Literally hundreds of title updates out there for all who can not get on live. The linked site has some very good instructions, better than my effort.
